How to Schedule Onsite Training

Certified Trainers are available to offer onsite training throughout the year. A school may offer professional development for its staff or sponsor a workshop for area teachers.

Workshop length: Workshops range from 2 to 3 days to a full 5 to 10 day summer institute.

Day length: Typically runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch break. Participants should bring a bag lunch and wear clothes they don't mind getting paint on.

Number of Participants: A minimum of 15 teachers is required to offer onsite training. Space permitting, 30 or more participants may attend.

Workshop Space Needs: A large room with enough tables to seat participants and a water supply nearby will be needed. A room that can be darkened for a slide presentation is also necessary. Image-Making workshops will require 15 long tables, space to hang a drying line, and a space to lay papers flat to dry. A list of equipment needs will be provided with each Letter of Agreement.

Fee Schedule*
2-day Workshop: $335 per participant
3-day Workshop: $415 per participant
4-day Workshop: $540 per participant
5-day Workshop: $690 per participant

Summer Institute costs will vary depending on the number of workshop days.
*All fees include instructional materials and all art materials used during the workshop. Hosting site is responsible for trainer's travel expenses (mileage, meals, lodging, airfare if applicable).
